Put on your tartan and join us when the Scottish Music Club orchestra returns to Bass Hall. This Tartan Day celebration features exuberant jigs and reels, strathspeys, heart-wrenching airs, and more, interspersed with informative and entertaining narrative.
The New Hampshire Scottish Music Club was founded in 1988 as The Strathspey & Reel Society of New Hampshire. The club’s goal is to foster an appreciation for the culture and history of Scotland through the performance of Scottish music. The Scottish Music Club performs around the state and hosts a free monthly gathering at the Concord Community Music School that welcomes all ages, instruments, and levels of experience.
